Support Our Extra Needs For COVID-19

Ways to Give

fall colored outdoor arbor at Attic Angel Community

As you consider making a gift to Attic Angel Association, you no doubt have a reason that is moving you to act.

It may be an alignment of values, a connection to an individual or organization for whom Attic Angel has played a significant role, or direct experience with the special commitment to caring for community that we call the “Attic Angel touch.” You may also be able to enjoy tax benefits that come with contributions to a 501(c)3 charity.

Whatever your motivation, we appreciate the opportunity to partner with you as you make gifts to Attic Angel in the following ways:

Outright Gifts

Gifts made directly and most simply to Attic Angel include any amount of cash, checks, stock and other securities. We are grateful for gifts of every size because, collectively, they make a greater impact toward achieving greater goals.

Tribute Gifts

Tributes gifts include those to honor someone special, perhaps for a milestone occasion, and memorials for loved ones who have passed on. We acknowledge each gift with a personal card to notify the honoree or next of kin about the loving gift that will help others.

Matching Gifts

Your gift to Attic Angel can go twice as far if your current or former employer will match your gift to us. We are happy to complete any matching gift forms you submit to us with your gifts to Attic Angel.

Planned Gifts

As part of an overall estate plan, planned gifts include will commitments (bequests), beneficiary designations within life insurance policies and retirement accounts, and gifts that combine life income with significant tax benefits such as those through a charitable gift annuity.

In-Kind Gifts

Gifts of new or gently used household items and women’s clothing help fuel our signature sales (Attic Sale, Classic Clothing Sale, Holidays Galore & More Sale), which raise money for the benefit of children and seniors in Dane County. Each year, Attic Angel Association identifies a compelling community need, and net proceeds from these sales support that focus. The Playing Field

The Playing Field Poster

Children affected by trauma such as homelessness and those with special needs such as autism spectrum disorders have different sensory needs for emotional support that helps them learn to manage behaviors. Our dream is to create a play space that allows children to be successful while ... being kids! Some of our plans:

  • A large open space for running (crowded spaces are often a behavior trigger for children)
  • High fencing and an appropriate climbing structure (children impacted by trauma or those on the autism spectrum often take bigger risks and climb higher)
  • Sensory panels that welcome independent play when children are agitated
  • A maze for children to walk through (this helps the brain to organize)
  • Small structures where children can feel safe
  • Specially designed pieces to work large muscle groups

By helping children at this critical point in their development, your gift will be helping the future of our community!
