At a time when Dane County reports a 70 percent increase in anxiety among middle and high school teens, Attic Angel provided 10 grants totaling nearly $220,000 to improve mental health for K12 youth in Dane County. Vera Court Neighborhood Center Inc. used theirs to provide a range of mindfulness options, including art outside, gardening, hiking, reading in nature, meditating in a tent and woodworking.
