Attic Angel Annual Attic Sale NewsThursday, June 19, 2008 at High Point Church, 7702 Old Sauk Rd., from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. It was a bright, sunny day and the shoppers showed up in droves!
We were able to accept credit cards in some of the departments for the bigger ticket items for the first time and it was a worthwhile experiment!! Watch this space for numbers on how much net proceeds there will be in the end for our beneficiaries. The House and Garden Tour is also part of our annual fundraiser and that takes place on Monday, June 23 in the Monona neighborhood. The Beneficiaries for the 2008 Sale and Tour are Independent Living's Respite Rescue Program and the Resident Aid Fund at Attic Angel Place. Respite Rescue provides a much needed break to caregivers who are unable to get away from their loved ones to do needed things like shop or go to dental appointments. The caregiver can go out knowing that their loved one will be safe. Resident Aid Fund is for those residents who have outlived their resources and can no longer afford to stay in the facility. It provides the funds they need without anyone else knowing that they have asked for or received funds. This very popular Attic Angel Association Attic Sale, an annual fundraiser featuring antiques, fine furniture, artwork, household items, sporting goods, electronics, jewelry and much more, took place on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at High Point Church, 7702 Old Sauk Rd, Madison from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The ticket price was $16 from 8 - 10 a.m. which also includes admission to the Attic Angel House & Garden Tour on June 23. Admission to the Sale was free starting at 10 a.m. Price reductions began at 2:45 p.m. The final super-save Bag Sale is from 5 - 6 p.m. We are looking forward to another successful Sale!
